About us
Located at the National Agricultural Science Centre (NASC) Complex, Pusa Campus, New Delhi, TAC is being developed in the spirit of institutions such as the India International Centre: a place where many of us with shared interests and diverse perspectives can meet, converse, exchange ideas and build close professional and personal relationships. TAC seeks to bring together scientists, academicians, research leaders, policymakers, administrators, extension professionals, entrepreneurs and other distinguished members of the agricultural community. Its purpose is to create a congenial environment where knowledge meets experience, ideas cross institutional boundaries and professional associations develop into lasting friendship. A space for ideas, interaction and fellowship, TAC will host lectures by eminent personalities, seminars, conferences, panel discussions, book launches, exhibitions, cultural programmes and other events covering agriculture, science, technology, innovation, rural development and contemporary national issues. It will also provide opportunities for an informal interaction and knowledge sharing among members. Equally important, TAC is intended to be a place to pause, meet and reconnect. Members will have access to dining and lounge facilities, recreational activities such as cards, chess and billiards, guest accommodation and conference facilities, subject to availability. The Centre’s setting within the Pusa Campus, with its landscaped surroundings, will add to an atmosphere of tranquillity and fellowship.
